Dr. Ross grew up in a small town in Missouri, but always dreamed of the Colorado mountains. She moved to Telluride after high school and spent a year as a ski bum before attending Colorado State University. After receiving her BS in Biological Sciences from CSU, she started a family and moved back to Missouri to attend the University of Missouri- College of Veterinary Medicine. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1997 and obtained a position at a veterinary referral hospital in Springfield, Missouri. She was fortunate to work with specialists in surgery, internal medicine and dermatology for 10 years.
In 2009, she decided to pursue her interests in acupuncture and rehabilitation by opening her own veterinary hospital that offered these additional services. She owned Healing Paws Veterinary Hospital in Springfield, Missouri for 5 years.
When her two daughters also caught the fever to be in the mountains, Dr. Ross sold her clinic and followed her girls back to Colorado. She spent two years in Boulder doing house calls and relief veterinary service before moving to Littleton to work alongside Dr. Georgiades at Just For Paws Veterinary Hospital.
Her special interests are in feline medicine, canine and feline geriatric medicine and dermatology. She also enjoys providing patients with drug free options for pain management such as acupuncture, laser therapy, and physical rehabilitation
