Just For Paws may recommend blood work for your pet for a variety of reasons. Chemistry and hematology blood tests can often detect a disease before your pet even displays any symptoms. Bloodwork may also be ordered before prescribing certain medications, before anesthetic procedures, if your pet is geriatric, or even on your apparently healthy pet if there is suspicion of a problem.
