Robert Donnarumma began his career in the veterinary field in February 1995, in Long Island, NY as a bather/kennel tech. He has worked and volunteered for a number of shelters, veterinary hospitals, and non-profit organizations where he developed a desire to educate clients and potential pet owners about adopting instead of buying animals from breeders or stores.

In July of 1998, Robert moved to Colorado for a change in atmosphere and started working for Elmfield Veterinary Center in Southwest Denver. It was at this practice where he met Dr. Georgiades and Kayla MacPherson. He decided to follow Dr. Michael to Just For Paws in June 2000.

Over the years, he has gained much experience in veterinary nursing, but it was not until he moved to Colorado that he became totally proficient at his job. He has taken several veterinary courses and is working towards his Certified Veterinary Technician degree (A.A.S).

Rob recently got married on June 7, 2008 to his lovely fiance Elyse (who is also a Vet Tech) and has numerous interests in the field of veterinary medicine. Client education, radiology and emergency medicine play a big part in his professional interests, but he hopes to someday help rehab wolves and/or wolf-hybrids. For now, Rob enjoys helping people and their pets, and taking care of his own critters at home with his wife, Elyse. When not working, he does a good bit of petsitting, practicing martial arts and trying to find time to go for hikes, car rides and new adventures in the Rocky Mountains or just staying home and reading a good book.
