Rachel Gerard moved to Colorado from Bettendorf, Iowa, and has resided in Englewood, Colorado for 3 years, while attending the Bel-Rea Institute. She graduated with an Associate of Applied Science degree in June 2008. Rachel was originally chosen to be a veterinary nurse intern at Just For Paws in April 2008, but decided to stay longer and accept a position as a full time nurse when she graduated from Bel-Rea. She is now a Certified Vet Tech. Her interests in veterinary medicine include patient care, client education, dental care dentistries, and patient recovery. She lives with her newlywed husband, Mike, the infamous Boston Terrier, Ace, and sweet Chinchilla, Winnie. In her free time, she enjoys spending evenings with good friends, watching movies and bowling.
